We want everyone to enjoy their Glamping holiday at Jollydays and as much as we all hate rules we do have a few that we ask you please follow.
- Noise curfew at 11pm every night, as regular campers will know, canvas walls do not stop noise, so even the noise of people talking can travel a large distance.
- No cars past the car park at 10pm, this is to stop people being disturbed by car doors and bright headlights.
- We don’t want to stop parties and celebrations but we do ask that all decorations and party poppers are kept within the tent. They are detrimental to the look of the forest and wildlife. (and a nightmare to clean up from the woodland floor.)
Tea Tent open all day everyday
You can enjoy a variety of teas and coffee after you settle into your accommodation or use the Tea tent to recharge your batteries after you have been exploring or playing. (or charge your phone as this is the main, limited electrical point on camp for guests). The Tea Tent works on an honesty system, purchases from here are to be written in the honesty book under your name and tent number and settled up at the end of your stay. You will also find in the Tea Tent informative books on the wildlife in the woodland and our visitor book full of our past ”˜Glampers’ comments and recommendations. The tea tent is recommended as a meeting point for big groups throughout the stay.
The log store and Shop
The log store and shop are also based on the honesty system and are open between 9-10am and 4-5pm everyday. At the log store you can buy kindling, bags of wood and charcoal, so no need to pack any. The shop has all-sorts of treats you can buy; from local produce such as chutneys and jams or cute cushions and even toothbrushes and raincapes (in-case you forget them!)
Adult group bookings
Adult Group Stays are bookable outside of School Holidays only. A refundable cash bond is to be paid per tent on arrival of your stay. If you are considering a group booking, please email to get further information.
