Are you dog friendly?
We love dogs (having 4 of our own), sadly the landowner doesn’t allow guests to bring their dogs – the woods are full of wildlife and dogs can cause absolute chaos – we do allow assistance dogs though.
How can I get from york train station?
Quite a few of our guests come by public transport and the number 10 bus leaves from just outside York station – destination Stamford Bridge. The camp is approx. 15 minutes’ walk from there. Alternatively we recommend Streamline Taxis – the best value and most reliable – 01904 656565 to pre-order. You might want to get a food delivery if you’re on foot – see below.
Can we get a supermarket shop delivered?
Yes – no problem but please make sure you use the same name as the booking is under, otherwise it’s the devil of a job marrying the right shopping with the right people!
Can I have my wedding at the camp?
We’ve had some lovely weddings at the camp – and we will again, but for now we have put a hold on them as we’re undergoing a lot of redevelopment and can’t plan too far ahead. Try our sister camp www.northstarclub.co.uk
Can I have a company event at the camp?
Yes – we’ve hosted many - from small events to sole use of the camp – get in touch for more info.
Can we use the camp for a commercial photoshoot?
Yes – we’ve had a lot of shoots over the years, the fee varies depending how long, what you want etc.
Are you open all year?
Yes we are open all year so you can enjoy all the seasons!
Can I hire the whole camp?
Yes, providing we have availability – we charge a small fee for exclusive hire.
